Short answer
Let your content choose the structure.
Choose a template after you know what the resume must contain. Compare the amount of experience, section hierarchy, reading direction, paper size and the employer’s requested format. Preview your own content before paying. No design determines hiring outcomes or proves that every hiring system will parse a document the same way.
1. Start with content volume
A compact layout can help a detailed career record, while a more spacious layout can give a shorter record clearer rhythm. Do not shrink type or remove relevant evidence merely to imitate a one-page example.
APWICO labels templates with verified density and structural family in the template gallery; those labels describe layout, not candidate quality.
2. Check the hierarchy with your own resume
- Can a reader find role, employer and dates quickly?
- Are long titles and multilingual names still readable?
- Do projects, volunteering or certifications receive the space they need?
- Does the design still work when one section is much longer than the sample?
3. Verify language direction and typography
Right-to-left content and non-Latin scripts need more than mirrored decoration. Preview actual names, headings and paragraphs, then check punctuation, line breaks and font coverage. APWICO’s template metadata states verified RTL/LTR behavior; the interface itself remains English.
4. Choose paper and file format deliberately
A4 and Letter have different proportions. Use the size requested by the employer or normal for the application context, then review page breaks after changing it. Download requirements also vary: follow the posting when it asks for PDF or Word rather than assuming one format is universally preferred.
5. Preview before choosing access
Free, individual Premium-template and Pro access are different purchase paths. The template page should show the verified tier and let you preview first; payment is a later explicit action. Read the current pricing and renewal terms beside any paid choice.
